August 2nd, 2005: Dream 2

I am staying at John Ruane's house. I need to use the bathroom, but I do not like to crap at someone else's house. I leave the house and wander the neighborhood. A public bathroom must be around here somewhere. On the other side of the neighborhood I find a toilet. It is inside a black Ford F-350, with oversized wheels. I pull myself into the cab and sit on the toilet. The truck's front passenger seat was replaced with a toilet. As I go, a couple on a harley pull up. The man is one of those bald muscle-man types. The woman is a lived-life too hard, trashy, bar floozy types. They stop next to the truck and begin to argue. Soon they are yelling so loud I am sure they are going to punch each other. Then they stop. Start to kiss and make-out. Something then occurs to me.
"What if that guy owns this truck. Uh-oh. I am taking a crap in some guy's truck. He is going to kill me."
The man gets off the motorcycle and enters the truck. He sees me on the toilet. I am sure he is going to attack me in anger.
"Using the toilet," he says. "No rush man. Finish when you finish. I don't have to be to work for hours."
I am still nervous so I skip wiping myself. I can do that at the Ruane's. I leave the truck and walk back towards John's house.
...Somehow I end up at the Amusement Park and Carnival with Suzanne...
...Suzanne is pregnant...
As we walk to a newer ride, everyone is telling Suzanne she should take it easy. On account of being pregnant. We arrive at the ride and walk up it's giant ramp. Everyone on the ride is yelling at Suzanne for walking up the ramp. You should be taking it easy! You'll hurt the baby!
"Shut the fuck up all of you," I shout.
We reach the top of the ramp. There is a slide you slide down. Cool. I like slides. I slide down the slide. It twists and turns backtracking on itself often. As I descend I realize there is symbolism in the ride.
"The up is straight , and filled with people yelling at you. The down is all curved and twisted. Climbing higher in your life is full of people telling you what to do. Climbing down in your life is where the true bumps and changes occur."
I reach the bottom and walk around the Amusement Park and Carnival. I see recruitment ads for soldiers all over the park. They are done in a turn of the century British style. Odd. Then I come to a tent.
...A voice whispers to me. The lost ones have been helped. Would you like to see them? Then enter...
I go into the tent and find a conveyor belt in a glass and plastic room. It is a large one like those used in moving packages. It is not contained inside this room, but merely passes through.
...They have been returned to their true natures...
The Siamese Twins move past on the conveyor belt. They have been gentically altered into Turtle boys. They may have been physically altered but still retain their personalities. They are writing higher math on each other's bodies. The move out of the room. Then my little black boy buddy moves out. Now he is a skunk. I want to hug him but I can't because of his musk. Instead I lean close and tell him how special he is to me. How much I will miss him. He smiles. Then he is out of the room. A magazine comes by on the belt. It is from the same company that made the recruitment ads around the park. The cover has a curvy N on the cover. The n is repeated infinitely, growing smaller and smaller, on the cover. Each n is inside the previous n, flipped.
