June 2nd, 2005: Dream 1

Mike Enzenberger, John Ruane, Jeff Young, Rosalind, Suzanne, and I are traveling in John's car. John is driving. I am riding in the front passenger seat with everyone else in the back seat. My legs bump against something and I investigate. It is a seventeen inch monitor. Before leaving, John tells me it is hooked up to the storage disk in his car's computer. He has placed all his downloads on the disk. I look at the screen and notice it is filled with icons. Each icon was fro a pornographic picture or movie. I really wanted to look at the porn. It was like an burning itch. I had to get rid of this temptation. I eject the disk. It comes out the CD player.
"Uh-oh," I say.
The disk is warped as if overheated. John returns to see the mangled disk in my hand. He is pissed. He yells at me for messing with his stuff. I try to jam the disk back in and finally succeed. To my surprise it still plays fine. John is calmed and drives us to Bradley. We pull up to Micky's Adult Bookstore. We all enter the store. I am confused by the store's new layout. It is almost maze like. Additionally they have changed products. Instead of porn, the shelves are lined with comic books. The coffee bar is gone, along with the stench of cigarettes.
