I am walking through my parent's back arena. I find a book about the Alaskan wilderness. I sit down and read the book.
...my awareness enters the story...
As the species dwindle the Controllers keep returning to the brown bear. All the life force of the animals and forest flowed through the bears.
...An image of a brown bear on top of a pyramid of animals and plants appears in my mind. There are red arrows linking the bear and all the other living things...
But the encroachment of humanity and civilization removed too many bears. Then the control of nature, and doorway to the wild's power was moved from the bears to the deer.
...the pyramid changes. Now two deer stand at the top where the bear was...
